chrome book and linux

I have an acer 730p chromebook, and had been running xfce with much satisfaction until I updated to chrome OS No 67. No luck reinstalling. Suggestions? How to? Where should I look for answers?

You may get it to work with WINE on Linux but i have not attempted it. As it is now reliant on WMP i doubt it would work. I think someone had V3 running on Linux with WINE.

Thank you all for your quick replies. I have tried the dboards link and that works. I did not know about the impending upgrade to Chrome...I love my chromebook as it is reliable and inexpensive, but using android apps would be a nice addition
