    Samsung Chromebook Review

I'm happy to announce that ChromeOSQuestions.org has procured its first Chrome OS device. This device will allow us to delve deeper into Chrome OS, help us in answering your queries and will allow us to better understand the general ecosystem. Our first device is the Samsung Chromebook, available in both Wifi (XE303C12-A01US - $249 MSRP) and 3G (XE303C12-H01US $329 MSRP) models. Both models weigh just under 2.5 pounds, have Exynos 5 Dual 1.7GHz processors, 2GB RAM, 16GB eMMC hard drives and a 11.6" 1366 x 768 screen. Battery life is roughly 6.5 hours.

For the stated MSRP, the build quality is fairly solid. The styling is akin to a plastic Macbook Air replica, and the inputs (USB 3.0 and 2.0, HDMI, USIM and SD Card) will be sufficient for most. As with most Chrome OS devices, the boot time is impressive. The general performance has been expectational for the price point and if you're looking for an entry level Chrome OS device, the Samsung Chromebook should be on your short list of options.

I've been thinking about picking up one of those - at $249 retail, that's pretty much "Tablet money", for an elegant little piece of hardware.
