I know quite a bit of Visual Basic and normal Basic programing. Does anybody know of some programs which allow me to utilise my knowledge of this in Linux? I have seen a BASIC compiler installed on my comp during installation of Linux, but have not found anything in the system itself. What I would like to know is:
Can anybody point me towards a website which caters for basic programers in Linux?
Does anyone know how to use the BASIC compiler?

If anybody could pass on any info I would much appreciate it!

Depending how industrious you are you can try these sites:

http://www.helixgnome.com/tech/gb.php3

I don't know anything about, just of it...good luck!

It looks like most of the basic tools are all under development still, nevermind, I will have to try out what is available!

Thanks for the links!
