Hello, it doesn't matter what version of Corel you have, try doing this at the command line when booting into Linux,

1. Start the machine and select "Linux -Console" from the start menu.
2. When prompted, type the root password to go into maintenance mode. If no password has been
set, simply press RETURN
3. At the "Corel Linux" prompt type
/usr/X11R6/bin/XF86Setup
4. When prompted to use the existing XF86Config file as a default type "N".
5. Press ENTER to continue.
6. Click on the tab labelled "Mouse" and then click "Dismiss" to close the information screen.
7. From the top section of the screen select the protocol corresponding to the mouse that is
installed.
8. From the Mouse Device list select the device corresponding to the mouse.
9. Click on the button labelled "Emulate3Buttons".
10. Click on the button labelled "Apply".
11. Click on the tab labelled "Keyboard".
12. From the lists select the model and layout corresponding to the keyboard that is installed.
13. Click on the button labelled "Apply".
14. Click on the tab labelled "Card".
15. From the list select the model corresponding to the video card.
16. Click on the tab labelled "Monitor".
17. From the list select the entry that closely matches the capabilities of the monitor that is
installed.
18. Click on the tab labelled "Modeselection".
19. From the list select the resolution at which Corel Linux is to be run.
20. From the four buttons at the bottom of the screen select the default colour depth that is to be
used.
21. Click on the button labelled "Done".
22. When prompted to start the X server, click on the button labelled "Okay".
23. When the server is running and the dialogue window appears, save the configuration file to
/etc/X11/XF86Config.
24. Click on the button labelled "Save the configuration and exit".
25. Click on the button labelled "Okay" to exit the XF86Setup utility.
26. Type CTRL+D to exit maintenance mode and to continue loading Corel Linux normally.

I got this from Corel's homepage which can be located at:
http://kb.corel.com/kbdocs/UNKNOWN/C...NG0_202586.htm

Hope this helps....

Drew
