I was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback on something.

I have an idea for a new website and wanted to make it in PHP slashdot style. I have been looking at some different packages and was wondering if you guys had any feedback good/bad on some of them. They are:

Slashcode - http://slashcode.com/

Geeklog - http://geeklog.newsgeeks.com/

PHP Nuke - http://www.phpnuke.org/

PHP Weblog - http://www.phpweblog.org/

Slashcode looks ok and it is PERL not PHP but same concept as the others. Geeklog seems like it is ok also but I am having a little trouble setting it up(I am real lazy). PHP Nuke I dont know much about. PHP Weblog looks ok and it has nice GUI style setup and configure screens but I am afraid this will limit my design creativity.

So at the moment it is Geeklog vs. PHP Weblog and the question between those two is do I want easy setup or(better) control over layout and design. Although I really dont know how much more freedom of design I get with Geeklog.

Let me know your guys opinion.

P.S. Jeremy what did you use for your Slash and was it hard to setup?
