Unhappy

Hi. I am totally new to Linux, so some of the vocabulary is going to be really amateurish.

I have win 2k in my pooter already, but i used dos fdisk to leave abt 3500Mb + free for linux. Now when i install RH it gets to disk druid and says 3000Mb is too big for linux native.

I read the same problem from another member in another thread, but I couldn't really understand the responses. They are too techie for me. I tried using Partition Magic to make a little bit of space near the First? Primary? sector or section ? (not sure abt the terminology) but My partition magic only worked in win 9x.

I ve been told that i could consider using the thing in win 2k that lets me choose the OS to boot into but I don't know how to use that. What other alternatives are there? Please help me....

Thanks. =)

Hello

R u make that nondos partition as primary partition???
If not do like that...
U can use FIPS2.0 for partitionong..
It will partition ur primary partition to 2...
Then using diskdruid u can edit that partition
bye..Have a nice time with linux
