Red face

Hi, I just recently updated to Mandrake 7.2 and KDE 2. I love the way it worked and was ready to pretty much give up on windows, until I got this really really annoying problem. Suddenly most fonts became incredible huge. I can't find a way to make them smaller, I have tried with all the normal places to choose fonts and they didn't have any effect. These fonts are so huge, that it makes KDE pretty much unusable since nothing will fit on the screen.

I would really appreciate any help I can get.
thanks

Did you change anything right before it suddenly changed?

huge fonts

I have messed with it some more and I can make it do it when I change the country that it thinks I reside in. If I leave it at default, I think it behaves. If I change it to United States, the fonts get big. So I've decided to not change that and see if it works well for awhile that way. Thanks.

huge fonts

Ok, it did it again and I didn't change anything. It just decided to suddenly make the fonts huge again (as far as I can tell). I'm getting pissed off at it. So what I keep doing, is just creating myself a new user everytime it does it. If anyone can help me or point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

What do you have in /etc/X11/fs/config? Also, is anything showing up in syslog?

config and syslog

There is nothing that seams relevant to this problem in the syslog. My config file is as follows (without all the comments).

/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi:unscaled,
