Question


My install of Mandrake 7.1 shows a quick message that PCI mode is defaulting to 33 and to adjust with idebus=100... can some one please tell me how to accomplish this ... thank you very much... Van

Before you change this make sure that your IDE bus does infact run at a speed other than 33. If it does just type idebus=100 (or w/e speed yours is at) in the boot loader append line. find the .conf file for lilo or grub and add idebus=100 to the append line to automatically boot with this.
