I'm a newbie trying to piece together a working linux system on an HP Vectra N2 (486DX2). I've got redhat 5.2 on cd connected to my computer with a Initio INI-6102 SCSI controller. Everything works but my particular SCSI card is not supported by my redhat release. Is there any linux drivers for my SCSI card out there? Where do I look? If there is a downloadable driver out there how do I plug it into the installation process?

One note: The SCSI card did come with a driver disk labled "SCO Unix, UnixWare (release 1.04)" can I use this? If so how?

Thanks a lot for any help.

Although Initio has a page saying that they are proud to be part of the Linux community (http://www.initio.com/linux.htm) it does not look like that particular board has a driver. According to the product page (http://www.initio.com/d_6102.htm) it has been discontinued and driver development has been halted. I could not find a driver around for this board. You may want to try a new distro and see if it picks the board up as something else, although I don't know how likely that is). Unfortunately SCO (they changed there name to Tarantella yesterday if anyone cares) drivers do not work under Linux.
