Hi, whatever color I set for the font and background of the Gnome's Terminal Window, although they change, they remain the same with one another.

I have got Gnome included in Red Hat 6.1.

Do you know what I should do?

Use a more configurable terminal. I like rxvt because of it's light footprint or aterm because of transparency.

here is a screenshot of aterm doing exactly what you want, different colors in different windows.
