If you obtain a free website and neither sign nor agree to anything, can the host administrator take something off your website without telling you first? (say he didn't like the content)

If this was in the /etc/hosts.deny file
ALL:0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 would that deny all?
(I know ALL:ALL does)

thanks

sorry posted in security also.

** QUERY IS A DUPLICATE POST **

The answer though isn't clear because you are asking about two different things. Are you the administrator that deleted the files and that's why the question about /etc/hosts.deny or ?

This sounds very much like looking for a backdoor or a prelude to a hack of the site in question because the answer to their setup is irrelevant if they deleted content.

Please explain...
