Here goes everyone,I have 2 linksys LNE100TX 10/100 NICs in my computer(using SuSE7.1).One connected to my cable modem and the other to to my hub(want to share cable connection with 2 other computers)Read a "How To" on setting up a similar network but having probs.Do I use DHCP on the card connected to the modem and use a static IP for the card connected to my hub? When I install the second NIC my first one hooked to my cable modem stops running. error "running DHCP client failed" "eth0 not running""eth1 not running".IRQ and IO shows no conflicts.Does anyone have an idea on what I'm doing wrong?

I've had probs getting two Linksys NICs in the same box. My solution? Swap one or both out for a 3Com.

How are you configuring the NICs - with yast?

Yep,I use Yast2 actually. With one NIC my cable modem works fine but then I'm disconnected from my home network.
