I've downloaded Red Hat Linux 7.0, but I couldn't install my modem, it's an external Zyxel Elite 2864i ISDN-Modem. I asked Zyxel for a Linux driver, but they said they don't have one, I should ask in a Linux forum.
Actually I am downloading Mandrake 8.0!
What do I have to do exactly to get my modem working?
I'm a absolut newbie, it would be nice if you give your answer understandable for me ;-)
I'm actually using Windows XP 2481, can I make a dual boot?

Thanks a lot!!
My only reccomendation is that you go have a look at linuxdoc.org and browse for an ISDN howto.

Assuming that XP following the same boot procedure as NT/2K then yeap - should be no problem to dual boot. If you search the forum there has been mention of dual booting in the last couple of weeks, also have a look at http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/M...with-LILO.html for more info, it's aimed at NT/98 but will still be applicable.
