ChromeOSQuestions.org will be rolled back into LQ

Please note ChromeOSQuestions.org will be redirected to the ChromeOS forum at LQ. When we created AQ/CQ we hoped to build vibrant communities similar to LQ. While that hasn't happened, LQ remains active and questions about Linux derivative operating systems such as ChromeOS are welcome.

Some posts have been inserted additionally since I posted that! But I'm glad the spam has been removed anyway.

I already bickered on this very same thread about how to report spam.
Doing so again makes me look like I don't do anything else, but I have not done this anywhere else so far!
Anyhow, here goes:

When you edit the spam (or quote/edit) it is not enough to remove the link itself. You need to remove recognizable keywords too.
In this case I'd say:
Quote:
Start using your computer resources more efficiently and make money on it! Download [Spam] Browser and it will mine bitcoin in the background while you surf the internet. Here is the link - [snipped]
Otherwise, search engines will still index the keyword [Spam], esp. in connection with "mine bitcoin"

It's really best to just remove the whole post.

With the quote above, I'm sure I could still find the product spammer was spamming about.

Must be when ChromeOS is mentioned. Spammers flock in.

I just looked in because I run it and help out once in while.
Thanks Jeremy.
